Turn Your Projects Around.
Manage risks with the aid of Pertmaster and success will follow. Your projects can now be properly executed with the assurance that they will come in on time and to budget more often than they ever did without proper risk management.
Pertmaster Project Risk can run as standalone software or a powerful risk "add-on" module for all versions of Primavera planning software, Microsoft Project, Welcom and Safran.
Unlike most other systems on the market, the risk tools in Pertmaster Project Risk are completely integrated alongside the planning system. This means it is not only more stable and reliable than other systems but also lightning fast. Typically 100 times faster than other scheduling and risk tool combinations.
The Risk Analysis
(all of these features are also available in Risk Expert)
Quick Risk. A powerful starting point for adding risk data to a project. Without having to complete all the details of a full risk analysis, quick risk can be executed in minutes.
Model Risk Types. Risks can occur and affect your projects in many ways. You can accommodate many types, including Estimate Uncertainty, Task Existence, Probabilistic Branching, Fixed Cost Uncertainty, Variable Cost Uncertainty and Resource Uncertainty. (To use Conditional Branching and Weather Modeling, you will need Risk Expert.)
Monte Carlo Simulation Engine. The risk analysis is based on a scientific method using a random number generator in a fixed number of iterations. There are 10 distribution types available: Triangular, Uniform, Normal, BetaPert, BetaPert modified, LogNormal, Discrete, Trigen, General/Custom.
Latin Hypercube Sampling. Have the option of using a quicker sampling technique than Monte Carlo.
Cost Risk. Determine if your project will come in to budget using various reporting tools.
__• Histogram. Projects Internal Rate of Return and Net Present Value.
__• Tornado Chart. Cost Sensitivity reports isolate what tasks or risk events are the most ___critical.
__• Cost Uncertainty. Quickly reveal the impact of cost uncertainty on your project through ___advanced cost risk analysis.
Schedule Risk. Determine if your project will come in on time as scheduled.
__• Histogram. Gives you the most likely finish date, duration and many other variations.
__• Tornado Chart. Find out what task or risk event is causing your schedule to not perform ___as expected.
__• Compare Task & Project S-curves. Compare alternate scenarios for a single project ___or program and determine the most effective risk response strategies.
__• Criticality Distribution. Report on the number of tasks that fall most frequently on the ___critical path and reveal risk hot spots.
__• Criticality Path Report. Trace critical paths forwards and backwards throughout a ___ ___project.
__• Compare Plans (pre and post mitigated). Determine cost and schedule benefit of ______mitigation strategies.
__• Multi-project Level Reporting. Compare projects with cross project reporting.
__• Export Data. All reports can be easily exported into Excel for flexible reporting and ___ ___custom data import/export from/to other PPM tools.
Beyond The Analysis
Integration with Popular Scheduling Tools. Pertmaster's project analytics creates a complete solution when coupled with other project management tools. Click to view integration features.
__• Primavera
__• Microsoft Project
__• Welcom
__• Safran
__• Excel, Conquest, and others
Schedule Checker. Identifies common problems that may result in misleading schedule or risk analysis results. A sampling of checks: constraints, open ended tasks, out of sequence updates, negative lags, positive lags on finish to start links, start to finish links, and start milestones driving summary completion date.
Licensing. Available in server or standalone packages with concurrent or named users.
