Primavera appoints local sole distributor

Primavera Systems, Inc., the leading provider of project, resource and portfolio management solutions, has appointed Enterprise Business Solutions Sdn Bhd (EBS) as the sole distributor for its IT-based project management softwares.
Speaking at a press briefing held at a city hotel today, EBS managing director David Kochummen said with modern technological advancements, complex operating environments call for solutions that provide the project manager with multi-tasking abilities.
“Primavera’s project management solutions can provide the project manager with easy access to information at every level.”
Primavera softwares have been used in project managements worldwide totaling over US$4.5 trillion. According to Primavera’s London-based international vice-president David Oates, the project management solutions have been used to build four out of five of the world’s tallest buildings.
“Buildings over two-storey high in Dubai, for instance, have been built using Primavera project management softwares,” he added,
Nearer to home, the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLIA projects have also used Primavera’s project management solutions.
With the appointment, Primavera, which has been in the Malaysian market for about 15 years, will be concentrating on providing solutions for the financial market and telcos.
